Long Term Stay Malaysia is gradually reopening its borders to facilitate business and official trips with strict health protocols and border entry requirements in place. Business travellers who wish to enter and stay in the country for a period of more than 14 days, from the date of arrival at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) are eligible to apply for the Entry Permission of a long-term business traveller until the expiration of their Employment Pass (EP), Professional Visit Pass (PVP) or Resident Pass – Talent (RP-T).

Foreign technical experts with a Professional Visit Pass (PVP) serving single and multiple customers across Malaysia

New/Existing Expatriates (Stranded Abroad)

New and existing expatriates that have a valid EP/RP-T but are stranded abroad (including dependants of EP and RP-T)

Frequent Foreign Business Travellers (Exit & Return)

Foreign business travellers that frequently exit and return to Malaysia, including representatives of Regional Establishments, Regional Offices or Principal Hubs

Permanent Resident Pass Holders (PR)

Business travellers with a valid PR pass (including dependants of EP and RP-T)

Malaysia My 2nd Home Social Visit Pass Holders (MM2H)

Business travellers with a valid MM2H pass (including dependants of EP and RP-T)

Frequent Malaysian Business Travellers (Exit & Return)

Business travellers with a valid Malaysian passport that frequently exit and return to Malaysia

Social Visit Pass Holders

(15-90 days)

Business travellers with a Social Visit Pass that is valid for a duration of 15 days up to a maximum of either 30, 60 or 90 days according to the respective countries.
