Malaysia has set up a fast track approval mechanism to expedite the entry of business travellers into Malaysia. Business travellers in this category who wish to access this arrangement will have to make an application for an Entry Permission with the One Stop Centre (OSC) via MyEntry. The decision to approve or reject the application will be made known within three (3) working days upon complete information received by the OSC.
Please obtain the Entry Permission Approval before making further travel arrangements, such as visa application (if required), flight ticket and accommodation reservations.
Business travellers are encouraged to submit a health declaration to show that they have been tested negative for a PCR COVID-19 Test before departing from their residing country.
Upon arrival in Malaysia, business travellers are required to undertake the PCR COVID-19 Test and remain isolated for 10 days of quarantine at designated Quarantine Centres. It is only 7 days of quarantine for business travellers who have undertaken a RT-PCR COVID-19 test and tested negative within 72 hours before arrival to Malaysia. The business travellers also have the option to make hotel reservations at Government-appointed premium hotels, prior to the arrival in Malaysia.
The following documents will be required to be submitted at the Immigration Counter upon arrival at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA):
